The Sharon Academy community gathered to dedicate a garden in remembrance of Pat Woodin, Tueday. Woodin served as the IT coordinator for the school and convened a support group for students with family members suffering from cancer. The garden, formed in the shape of a heart was largely the inspiration of 2013 TSA graduates Beth Potter and Brooke Kennedy, who were present for the dedication, as were Pat’s husband, Joe, and their daughters Maegan and Bekah. The dedication began with a remembrance of Pat by school administrator Michael Livingston, followed by remarks on the family’s behalf by Joe Woodin. Then, the community joined hands for a quiet circle about the garden which is situated on the bluff at the back of the academy buildings. (Herald composite / Bob Eddy)
